Coursemojo is hiring a founding AI Research Associate to run and scale AI prompt experiments designed to improve our application. You will execute experiments designed by leadership, log results, provide clear findings, and partner with the Content Transformation team to move proven ideas into durable prompts and workflows.

What You'll Do

Carry forward active experiments, running necessary iterations like tweaking prompts, uploading and testing in production, and validating edge cases.
Make evidence legible by keeping clean artifacts, tracking outcomes, and writing tight summaries with a recommended next step.
Keep feedback loops tight by bringing back interim results quickly for judgment calls and refining with guidance.
Partner effectively with the Transformation team to coordinate tidy handoffs when an approach looks viable.
Turn one-offs into patterns by creating repeatable processes and templates where it makes sense.
Take on more responsibility as you learn, growing toward proposing approaches as your judgment strengthens.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in any field.
1-5 years of post-collegiate experience in an analytical function (research, tech, consulting, etc.).
Collaborator who likes to solve problems with others.
Strong synthesizer who writes clearly and trims noise.
Comfortable with technical problem solving and attracted to solving analytical puzzles.
Comfortable with ambiguity and many small iterations to get to signal.
Organized, reliable, and communicative—knows when to ask versus press on.
Energized by using AI as a practical lever, not a demo toy.
Relentless in figuring out how to solve a problem, even when plan A doesn’t work.
High-level technical comfort in Google Suite, spreadsheets, and digital knowledge management.
Hands-on work experience with LLMs (like ChatGPT and Claude) and LLM prompt iteration.

Nice to Have

Basic Python/SQL skills.
Background in education, edtech, or learning sciences.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation is $63,000-$74,100 annually for candidates with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Compensation is $77,700-$91,500 annually for candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience.
