Farmers Insurance is hiring an Agency Development Specialist to support and administer our centralized agency development processes. In this role, you will be a key point of contact, explaining eligibility, verifying documents, managing packet submissions, and handling administrative onboarding tasks to help new agents get started.
What You'll Do
- Support and administer agency development processes, including packet submissions, document validation, and system access requests.
- Work daily with candidates, field leaders, and business partners to execute assigned processes via various contact methods.
- Maintain up-to-date records of activity, interactions, and candidate statuses using approved systems.
- Report any system, process, or data issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize tracking systems to monitor and record activities.
- Assist your people leader with general duties, such as developing reports, presentations, and communications.
- Provide updates on trends, results, and tactics through presentations, spreadsheets, and other means.
- Actively participate in and support assigned projects, initiatives, and training opportunities.
- Collaborate with peers to research, identify, and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency.
- Provide relevant feedback and best practices on processes, programs, vendors, and systems.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues.
- Assist your people leader with training and developing peers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant programs and processes.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of experience in sales, recruiting, project management, and/or agency or customer-facing positions.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in business or a related field.
- Experience in recruiting, distribution models, and/or the insurance industry.
- Experience onboarding and working with new agents.

- Typical salary range is $80,000-$90,000, with flexibility for high-cost locations and experience.
