INCA – Insurance Core Automation is seeking an Africa Sales Director for Food Ingredients Distribution to lead our expansion and strategic management across multiple countries in Africa. You will be responsible for overall business development, overseeing efficient operations, and driving sales performance to meet ambitious global goals.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proper business development plans at the country and sales team level are aligned with global targets.
- Initiate and participate in the development of global policies, structures, and tools, and enforce their local implementation.
- Oversee the cost and capacity structure of local offices to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor sales and financial KPIs and coordinate corrective actions with Country Managers.
- Initiate best practice sharing within your area and encourage cooperation to maximize synergies.
- Be selectively involved in the operative, daily business as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Food Technology.
- Proven experience in Food Ingredients Distribution (B2B, not FMCG).
- At least 10 years of leadership experience, including managing at least one country with a larger team.
- Experience either managing a team of Country Managers (if from a distributor) or managing Food Ingredients distributors (if from a producer).
- Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and launch operations in African countries.
- Perfect English proficiency.
- Willingness and preparedness for extensive travel.
- Communicative, proactive, analytical thinking, and supportive personality.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Nice to Have
- An MBA or background in economics.
- Fluency in French and a local African language.
Team & Environment
You will be the direct supervisor of Country Managers, acting as the critical link between our HQ and local teams on the ground.
Work Mode
This role is based locally within the Africa region, requiring presence and operations across multiple countries.
