We are seeking a motivated Hydraulics Engineer-Modeler to lead water utility planning assignments across Southeast U.S. locations. The role involves collaborative work with our Southeast Modeling Group, focusing on potable and reclaimed water distribution system evaluations. Responsibilities: - Design and analyze drinking water utility systems - Utilize software like AutoDesk Innovyze, Bentley, ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD - Build and calibrate hydraulic water system models - Conduct simulations and technical analysis - Present findings to clients and stakeholders - Lead and train junior hydraulic modelers - Develop project estimates - Apply engineering principles to solve technical challenges - Maintain positive client and team relationships Minimum Requirements: - BA/BS in civil/environmental engineering - 4+ years related experience - Proficiency in water system hydraulic modeling software - GIS experience - Ability to travel - U.S. citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: - 6+ years experience - Professional engineering license in North Carolina - Wastewater modeling software expertise - Water distribution project planning experience - Engineering Intern certification Additional Information: - No relocation assistance - No employment authorization sponsorship - Comprehensive benefits package - Equal Opportunity Employer AECOM offers a supportive environment for professional growth, cutting-edge technology, and opportunities to work on transformative global infrastructure projects.
