Colac Area Health is looking for an Administration Officer to join our team at University Hospital Geelong. This critical role provides customer and patient liaison services and vital administrative support within our fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring the smooth operation of patient care.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer and patient liaison focused services to patients, families, and visitors of the Emergency Department.
- Provide vital administrative support to medical and nursing staff to support patient services and care.
- Accurately collect complex patient and service data for reporting and financial services.
- Establish strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and consumers.

- Demonstrated experience delivering high quality customer service.
- Ability to work in a large multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and problem solve.
- Proven computer literacy and ability to learn specialist programs.
- Ability to adapt to a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work shift hours as required.

- Previous experience in an Emergency Department or other medical environments.
