Solventum is looking for an Acute Advanced Wound Care Specialist based in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you will manage a sales territory focused on customer support and sustainable growth by forging strong relationships. You will use data and analytics to inform strategy and increase the utilization of advanced wound therapies, partnering closely with healthcare professionals to ensure technology meets patient needs with compassion.
What You'll Do
- Manage your account and territory to deliver sustainable business growth based on defined targets and quotas.
- Use data and analytics to inform business planning.
- Complete essential business planning requirements and maintain sales call data using Salesforce.com.
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities and constraints.
- Leverage hospital networks and contacts to identify expansion and conversion opportunities.
- Manage relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders, such as surgeons.
- Routinely consult with clinicians on the safe and effective use of products.
- Routinely attend procedures and product placements.
- Increase the mix of advanced therapy utilization, including new product introductions.
- Persuade key hospital stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Provide customer support and service.
- Support conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher and a minimum of 2 years of sales, clinical, or related experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Or, a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of sales, clinical, or related experience in a similar environment.
- A current and valid driver’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice to Have
- A proven track record of quota and target attainment.
- Prior wound care, medical device, or operating room sales or clinical experience.
- Proven experience in territory management and business planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers like surgeons.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Customer-focused selling and closing skills.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.

Benefits & Compensation
- Total compensation range of $110,762 - $135,375, consisting of base pay plus variable incentive pay.

This is a local field-based role operating in and around Buffalo, NY.
