CG Life is looking for a strategic and hands-on Account Supervisor, Public Relations to lead client communications programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients in healthcare, biopharma, life sciences, and medical technology, working collaboratively within an integrated agency team.
What You'll Do
- Serves as the client's main day-to-day contact with minimal oversight.
- Proactively engages with clients, manages expectations, and facilitates productive discussions.
- Leads the execution and management of complex earned media projects, programs, and campaigns.
- Oversees communications program development and implementation.
- Spots opportunities for account growth and initiates growth conversations.
- Plays a support role in new business development, including proposal development and presentations.
- Primary role in the vision and execution of client work, including timeline creation and client reporting.
- Accountable for project insights at kickoff and ensuring team alignment on strategic objectives.
- Manages teams assigned to clients to ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget.
- Plans and manages client retainers, tracks budget status, and initiates change-of-scope discussions.
- Establishes strong internal relationships with functional team members and keeps them informed.
- Builds partnerships with integrated account and finance teams for program alignment.
- Responsible for quality control at all levels of the client team.
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, deliver, and present assigned work.
- Contributes to PR strategy, tactical planning, and creative work; leads client brainstorm calls.
- Strategically applies key client information to support program execution.
- Provides expert media relations guidance and mentorship to junior teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of public relations experience.
- Focus on the life sciences, medtech, or healthcare industries.
- Experience developing and executing strategic PR programs, including media outreach and content creation.
- Experience promoting clinical research, product innovations, medical congresses, and data publications.
- Strong ability to distill complex scientific or technical concepts into compelling narratives.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at building and maintaining client and media relationships.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.

- Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000 USD (estimated range, varies based on factors).
