About the Role

Directive Consulting is hiring an Account Strategist, Paid Media to serve as a key client contact and strategy lead for enterprise SaaS businesses. In this remote role based in Canada, you will oversee a portfolio of paid media accounts, driving performance and client satisfaction through custom strategies and data-driven optimization.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts.
  • Build quarterly strategies for clients.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting.
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel.
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts, including weekly communication with vendors or operational partners.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and your professional network.
  • Work directly with an Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved.
  • Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization.
  • Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency.
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting.
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization).
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT.
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • A unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS.
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
