About the Role

Great Minds, a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing all students with meaningful content and all teachers with effective tools, is hiring an Account Representative for New Jersey. In this integral sales role, you will partner closely with an Account Solution Manager to drive growth, craft full solutions, and support schools and districts through implementation and renewal.

What You’ll Do

  • Hunt for new business through outbound prospecting, including cold calls and email campaigns.
  • Manage and respond to inbound leads within your sales territory.
  • Sustain renewal business for existing customers and achieve cross-sell and upsell goals.
  • Perform pre-sales work, including setting appointments, discovery calls, and managing customer questions.
  • Negotiate, quote products, and execute add-on sales campaigns.
  • Develop positive, influential relationships with key stakeholders like Curriculum Directors, Coaches, and Principals.
  • Understand client implementation health to refer training and support when necessary.
  • Create strong internal relationships with Product, Success, Marketing, and Business Operations teams.
  • Present virtually via Zoom to prospective clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of successful direct sales experience OR 3+ years in the education field with a strong ability to influence decision-making.
  • Readiness to make outbound phone calls to schools and school systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Capacity to present materials to small and large audiences via Zoom.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, marketing, or liberal arts preferred (or equivalent business experience).

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of a CRM like Salesforce.
  • K12 classroom teaching, professional development, and/or sales experience.
  • An academic and growth mindset.
  • Commitment to high standards.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Sales Team, working closely with an Account Solution Manager to support growth in your assigned region.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $46,000-$55,000
