About the Role

Scandinavian Tobacco Group - Cigars International is hiring an Account Representative for the Forged Cigar Company brand. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales, managing accounts, and building strong partnerships across the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland territories.

What You'll Do

  • Increase sales in assigned accounts by calling prospective customers, establishing buying cycles, and creating strong customer relationships.
  • Manage existing business accounts using effective call strategies, conceptual selling, creative problem solving, promotional planning, and merchandising.
  • Develop business partnerships with all classes of trade to promote market leadership.
  • Secure proper product distribution across all channels of trade.
  • Arrange, manage, and participate in brand-building events in coordination with the Events Marketing team.
  • Manage and maintain records, files, and reports.
  • Operate within an assigned district budget.
  • Prepare sales information for customers.
  • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for your accounts.
  • Secure and place orders, considering delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior B2B sales experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG).
  • A satisfactory driving record is required and must be maintained.
  • You must be comfortable with exposure to cigar smoking.
  • Overnight travel is required, including driving an automobile and travel by aircraft and/or train.
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend at the waist, squat, and occasionally lift/carry up to 35 lbs. unassisted.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor's degree (Business degree preferred).
  • Experience with luxury or premium CPG products.

Technical Stack

  • Ability to use a tablet computer, smartphone, and related accessories.

Work Mode

This is a local-country position based in and covering the PA, NJ, DE, and MD territories.
