H.B. Fuller is hiring an Account Manager to drive growth and retain our market share within a key customer segment. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base through strategic relationship management.
What You'll Do
- Communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
- Manage product demonstrations and lead technical problem-solving independently.
- Focus on growth by pursuing larger opportunities and optimizing price and profitability.
- Train and mentor entry-level or new sales personnel.
- Drive customer intimacy by delivering H.B. Fuller’s tailored value proposition.
- Promote, quantify, and expertly sell value to differentiate our solutions.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities and communicate forecasting needs.
- Implement business pricing strategy based on guidelines and expertly deliver price increases.
- Apply effective prospecting techniques, establish connections with key contacts at new prospects, and assess customer needs.
- Apply a broad understanding of markets and industry trends in customer conversations.
- Optimize offers for the customer and H.B. Fuller by creatively applying supply chain knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a related industry and B2B environment.
- Demonstrated behaviors aligned with Sales Excellence training principles.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's or University Degree with a technical, mechanical, marketing, or chemistry background.
