Braze is hiring an Account Manager, SMB to be the commercial owner of a portfolio of growth customers. You will ensure clients maximize value through our technology, renewing and expanding existing SaaS contracts while working with leading brands in multi-channel consumer engagement, mobile marketing automation, APIs, and analytics.
What You'll Do
- Own the commercial relationship, empowering Braze utilization and value to achieve upsell and renewals targets.
- Acquire and maintain best-in-class product knowledge and stay current on industry trends.
- Proactively analyze customer product usage and identify growth opportunities.
- Effectively communicate customer feedback to the Braze product team.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with teams including Success, Sales, Product, Legal, and Marketing.
- Coordinate resources to drive feature adoption.
- Work with Account Executives and Success Partners to seamlessly transition clients from pre-sales through onboarding and into ongoing service usage.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years experience renewing and expanding existing SaaS contracts for clients across various verticals, with typical deal sizes from $25k to $500k/year.
- Background in SaaS sales for Mobile and/or Marketing Technology.
- Proven success navigating organizations and quickly identifying decision makers and processes for the SMB customer segment.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and stand-up presentation skills.
- Prior experience with salesforce.com CRM, or similar CRM for pipeline management.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- The capacity to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new cloud applications and tools.
- An accomplished networker in daily life through social media and other mediums.
- Up-to-date on digital trends, especially in mobile, web, and email.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Drive, intellectual curiosity, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
Nice to Have
- Product sales experience focused on selling email, analytics, CRM, marketing automation, and/or content marketing solutions.
- Prior experience collaborating with Customer Success and Marketing/Sales Enablement teams, including input into lead generation.

- Salary range: $70,000 - $81,500/year + equity in the form of restricted stock (RSUs).
