PCONA Panasonic Connect North America is hiring an Account Manager Public Safety

About the Role

PCONA Panasonic Connect North America is looking for an Account Manager for Public Safety to maintain and grow market share within a defined territory. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive sales and adoption of Panasonic Connect Mobility products and services to government agencies.

What You'll Do

  • Interface and directly call on end-users and customers to drive product and services adoption.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual territory quotas and strategic targets.
  • Work with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities to achieve year-over-year growth targets.
  • When applicable, work with State Standards Committees and State Procurement Agencies to ensure solutions are included and product information is current.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience selling technology products and services, preferably to public sector customers.
  • Proven success managing reseller and end-user relationships.
  • Understanding of pipeline management discipline and ability to explain its benefits.
  • Able to navigate informal structures and collaborate with internal resources to accomplish company goals.
  • Proven track record of navigating all levels of end-user accounts and reseller partners, driving tangible revenue growth.
  • Travel requirement of 75%.

Nice to Have

  • College degree or relevant job-related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Experience working with executive C-level customer contacts.

  • Compensation: Base $70,000 –$85,000 / OTE $175k - $190k.

Work Mode

This role is based locally within the assigned territory of either New England or NYC.
