About the Role

Momentive Performance Materials is hiring an Account Manager to drive the sales of innovative additives for the polymers and electronics industries across Europe. You will execute the regional growth strategy, build long-term customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Execute the growth strategy for the Polymers and Electronics business in Europe.
  • Drive growth at or above Annual Operating Plan target levels for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain and further develop the current customer database in the region.
  • Develop appropriate commercial tactics to generate success in targeted markets.
  • Drive business development into new territories, markets, and applications.
  • Ensure execution of strategies and remove roadblocks preventing adoption.
  • Work closely with the Regional Segment Leader, Product Managers, Application Development Engineer, Marketing Communications, and Technology to align plans.
  • Effectively collect market intelligence and feed it back to the marketing team.
  • Travel to meet Customers and Distributors face-to-face for business development.

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in a commercial role within the chemical industry.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience.
  • Good technical and chemical knowledge.
  • Market knowledge of the Plastic Industry.
  • Strong cross-functional player who can work effectively across teams (Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain) and drive results.
  • Strong Sales skills with high customer orientation.
  • Good technical understanding of complex customer requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills - fluent English.
  • Self-directed and independent (remote office).
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • High willingness to explore new things and create new business models.
  • Willingness to travel on a frequent basis (up to 50%).
  • Possession of a valid driving license.

Nice to Have

  • Direct sales experience in Plastic/Polymer additives.
  • Additional languages (German, French, Italian).
  • Project management skills.
