Role Overview
This position leads a team focused on accurate and timely net asset value (NAV) calculations within the Fund Administration division. You will coordinate closely with Investor Reporting, Compliance, and Company Secretarial functions to ensure seamless delivery of client services in Malta.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily NAV calculations and ensure they are reviewed and delivered according to agreed timelines and client-specific requirements
- Manage the operational setup of new funds and transitions of existing ones
- Participate in meetings discussing NAV outputs, financial statements, and related deliverables
- Support the ongoing implementation and enhancement of SSAE 18 and ISAE 3402 control frameworks
- Respond promptly to client inquiries in line with established service standards
- Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and fund-specific mandates
- Authorize payments through bank systems and monitor administration fee collections, including follow-up on overdue accounts
- Review financial statements and engage with internal and external auditors to resolve audit queries
- Drive process improvements and adopt best practices to increase efficiency
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must hold a university degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of four years’ experience in senior fund administration roles. Familiarity with accounting standards such as UK GAAP, US GAAP, or Luxembourg GAAP is essential. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected, as is proficiency in Word, Excel, and Excel macros.
