About the Role

Arch is looking for an Account Manager to own the visibility and results of lender client relationships within an assigned territory. You will develop long-term partnerships and deliver value-added credit enhancement solutions, collaborating closely with regional leadership on strategy and new customer opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with lender customers to promote Arch US Mortgage Insurance products and expand new business.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and mortgage insurance decision influencers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain account plans, goals, and home office summaries in SalesForce.com.
  • Utilize SalesForce.com for monthly planning, daily call reporting, and account summary highlights.
  • Keep current on both national and local industry trends and contribute to the mortgage industry through networking and events.
  • Represent Arch at client meetings, regional and state conferences, trade shows, and other events.
  • Support ancillary or adjacent product offerings by Arch Mortgage Global Group and facilitate quality leads to Arch Insurance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver superior customer service and response time.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree and five years of housing finance or mortgage insurance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor account-specific strategies and sales tactics to achieve NIW growth objectives.
  • Proficient understanding of the mortgage industry and basic GSE requirements for mortgage insurance.
  • Ability to interact with and deliver presentations to senior-level decision makers, vendors, and clients professionally.
  • Proficient understanding of the mortgage originations/manufacturing process through delivery and servicing of a closed loan.
  • Proficient understanding of the mortgage technology stack, including POS, PPE, and LOS systems.
  • Proficient understanding of mortgage credit risk and how loan attributes and borrower credit affect loan performance.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with the respective DVP or RVP on strategy, new customer opportunities, and call patterns for the assigned territory.
