About the Role

Ramp is looking for an Account Manager, Growth to join our team. In this role, you will deliver value to customers and drive revenue by owning the expansion and retention of a scaled portfolio of existing Ramp customers. You'll help identify growth opportunities, operate scaled touch-points, and play a key part in building and refining our scaled account management approach.

What You'll Do

  • Identify expansion opportunities within a scaled portfolio and own the entire sales process through close.
  • Develop and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies while maintaining a robust expansion pipeline.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer personas and act as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their goals.
  • Leverage sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and pain points.
  • Gather and provide customer feedback to directly inform Ramp’s product roadmap and customer communication strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve operational efficiencies and advocate for your customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of customer-facing or direct sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achievement in a high-velocity business environment.
  • Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, conducting product demos, and comfort with sales tools and processes.
  • A consultative sales approach with analytical and quantitative skills, and a deep interest in understanding business challenges.
  • Ability to discuss Ramp's value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and other decision makers.
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency daily.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • A sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within null processes.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience with financial services sales.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup.

This is an in-office position located in New York City (NYC) or San Francisco (SF).
