About the Role

Johnson Controls seeks an Account Manager, Fire Protection - Restaurant Systems to join our team. This remote Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships across our business portfolio, focusing on major Distributors and Channel Partners. You will develop and maintain long-term relationships, understand business needs, and create tailored solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Create and execute account strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services to existing accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and value delivery.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and renewals to maximize profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to enhance customer experience.
  • Track and report key metrics, including revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer retention rates.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and account planning.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding strategic accounts.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the Fire Suppression Industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (SalesForce).
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
