Greenheck Group is hiring an Account Manager to manage and develop an assigned sales territory. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and building strong business relationships with key customers using your knowledge of Greenheck's product line and CAPS software.
What You'll Do
- Listen to and understand customers’ needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Sell, promote, and market Greenheck Group products according to customers’ specific requirements.
- Develop and manage a sales plan to increase effectiveness within your assigned territory.
- Grow new business while maintaining and further developing existing business partnerships.
- Provide product quotes in CAPS software to customer Engineering and Purchasing teams.
- Maintain regular contact with customers for updates, issue resolution, and solution proposals.
- Work directly with Business Unit team members on product questions and Special Design Requests.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to clarify customer inquiries, orders, and order status.
- Proactively seek out purchasing decision makers and develop solid business relationships.
- Deliver successful collaboration efforts by presenting product and service capabilities.
- Explore opportunities to sell additional Greenheck Group products to your existing customer base.
- Promote facility and corporate visits with strategically important customers and partners.
- Attend trade shows and industry functions to stay informed on market activities.
- Travel as needed within your assigned territory to meet customer expectations.
- May engage in contract negotiations with customers.
- May provide technical and application assistance to consultants to influence design specifications.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in direct sales, outside sales, or a mechanical field.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- A willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong analytical ability.
Nice to Have
- Professional background in either mechanical engineering or outside sales.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software.
- HVAC industry experience.

Compensation includes a base salary, which varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
