SciLeads is looking for an Account Manager to manage and expand existing customer relationships within the life science and pharmaceutical industry. You'll be responsible for ensuring renewals, driving revenue growth, and identifying upsell opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Ensure renewals of key accounts by building strong relationships and addressing customer needs
- Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities within existing accounts to drive additional revenue
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand usage and adoption across different teams within current customers
- Work closely with the Customer Success and SDR teams to maximize account retention and identify growth opportunities
- Consistently close deals, hitting sales targets and exceeding quota
- Engage with sales and marketing decision makers to demonstrate how SciLeads can drive revenue for their business
- Own, report, and forecast sales activity
- Attend Scientific Tradeshows (optional)
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience working as an Account Manager in a fast-paced sales environment
- A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- High level of drive and a competitive mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a sense of urgency
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS sales
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as the Sandler methodology
- Background in selling within the Scientific Industry
- An interest in life science, biopharma, and biotechnology industries
Team & Environment
This role is part of a growing Canadian remote team (currently around 27 people). You'll work closely with Customer Success and SDR teams, and the CRO.
