T-Mobile is hiring an Account Executive for our SMB Team Sales group in Safford, Culpeper, or Fredericksburg, VA. This is a hunter role where you will drive new business by acquiring accounts for small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). You'll meet monthly sales quotas through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and networking to sell our full suite of products and services.
What You'll Do
- Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
- Recommend wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
- Negotiate and close deals.
- Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management with leadership.
- Participate in product training and sales meetings.
- Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
- Use sales force automation, manage your sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Task management: Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
- Customer service: Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Negotiation: Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment.
- Outside B2B sales experience.
- Ability to cold call/door knock.
- Prospect Management: Experience in identifying, nurturing, and guiding potential leads from initial contact to conversion.
- CRM Experience using systems such as Salesforce.
- Proposal Writing: Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations.
