bennie is hiring an Account Executive, Sales Team (West Coast Region)

About the Role

Bennie is looking for an Account Executive to focus on finding and selling net new clients to our brokerage book of business in the West Coast region. You'll own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels.
  • Target specific-sized companies by employee count, gross revenue, industry vertical, or geography.
  • Build and nurture business relationships to generate new business.
  • Prepare and present Marketing, Analysis, and Recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations both internally and externally.
  • Attend and participate in Finalist Meetings with the Bennie Team and Prospects/Customers.
  • Perform outbound activities to build a revenue pipeline and qualify inbound leads.
  • Target key decision makers, determine buying readiness and timelines.
  • Capture and manage information, data, and metrics in our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and conferences.
  • Network with market influencers, other Account Executives, Consultants, and Partners.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in the benefits market with the knowledge to speak to large groups about their health benefit programs.
  • Licensed in Life and Health Insurance, or willing to get licensed.
  • Proven experience in accurately forecasting and hitting revenue targets.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed in a work from home environment.
  • Adaptability to new initiatives.
  • CRM experience.

Nice to Have

  • BA/BS Degree.
  • Previous experience selling software (SaaS), HRIS/HCM software, and/or selling into HR.
  • Strong interest in the technology sector.

You will leverage the Bennie lead generation team, our business development partners, and internal and inbound prospects.

  • Compensation: USD75,000 to USD90,000 + stock options.
