bennie is hiring an Account Executive, Sales Team (East Coast Region)

About the Role

Bennie is seeking an Account Executive to focus on net new client acquisition for our East Coast region brokerage business. You will own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, leveraging our lead generation team, business development partners, and inbound channels to grow our client base.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels
  • Target companies by specific employee count, revenue, industry, and geography
  • Build and nurture business relationships to generate new opportunities
  • Prepare and present Marketing, Analysis, and Recommendations
  • Deliver product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in Finalist Meetings with the Bennie team and prospects
  • Perform outbound activities to build a robust revenue pipeline
  • Qualify inbound leads for potential fit
  • Target key decision makers and assess buying readiness and timelines
  • Capture and manage all data and metrics in our Salesforce CRM system
  • Attend relevant trade shows, events, and conferences
  • Network with market influencers, other account executives, consultants, and partners

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of direct sales experience
  • Experience in the benefits market and ability to speak to large groups about health benefit programs
  • Licensed in Life and Health Insurance, or willing to obtain licensure
  • Proven track record of accurately forecasting and hitting revenue targets
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to succeed in a remote work environment
  • Adaptability to new initiatives and changing priorities
  • Hands-on experience using a CRM system

Nice to Have

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Previous experience selling software (SaaS), HRIS/HCM software, or selling into HR departments
  • A strong interest in the technology sector
