Assignar is looking for an Account Executive to own demand generation and account-based selling within the construction industry. In this remote role, you will source new opportunities through outbound efforts, perform discovery, and run product demos to achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
What You'll Do
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound efforts like cold calling, email, and LinkedIn engagement.
- Identify key decision-makers and generate interest within target organizations.
- Understand customer needs and requirements by performing discovery calls.
- Maintain and expand our CRM with prospects within your assigned territory.
- Perform effective online and in-person demos with an assigned Sales Engineer.
- Attend in-person events, demonstrations, and industry associations as requested.
- Travel weekly to events and for targeted account visits.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record in B2B demand generation and account-based selling.
- Ability to navigate a sales cycle from start to finish.
- Powerful outbound sales skills, including the ability to educate prospects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set daily and weekly priorities.
- Proven high-volume inside/outside sales experience (B2B).
- Ability to work towards company targets and key results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Nice to Have
- Ideally, 5 years of experience in a sales or account executive role.
- Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, Drift, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Apollo/ZoomInfo.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the Global Head of Sales, the BDR Team, Marketing, and Sales Engineers, reporting directly to Trent McCreanor (Global Head of Sales).
Work Mode
This is a remote position for candidates based in Australia. It requires consistent weekly travel for events and account visits. Candidates based in Queensland (QLD) will be preferred.
