About the Role

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is hiring an Account Executive for Grand Canyon University’s Online Division. You will oversee the White Mountain, AZ territory, responsible for building awareness of GCU's online academic programs and driving inquiry generation. This role involves extensive travel within the territory to counsel prospective students and support them through the admissions process.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and implement event and activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs for education, healthcare, and business.
  • Drive inquiry generation through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
  • Shape high-impact partnerships for your territory and execute daily work.
  • Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
  • Champion the GCE mission, promoting GCU student success and institutional growth.
  • Support prospective GCU students through the admissions process, guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
  • Outstanding time management and prioritization skills, especially while traveling.
  • Clear communication skills in person, in writing, and on the phone, with well-developed listening skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule for extensive travel.
  • Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must live in or near Show Low, Payson, Greer, St. John's, or Pinetop, AZ.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant industry-related professional experience.
  • Experience working with CRM tools.
