VSP Vision is hiring an Account Executive - North Carolina

About the Role

VSP Vision seeks an Account Executive to grow market share by selling and servicing eyewear products in North Carolina. You will manage an existing customer base while developing new prospects across various industries, leveraging creative sales strategies and building strong relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Develop creative sales strategies to contact prospects and create revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with both current and prospective customers.
  • Represent the eyewear line of business in all sales-oriented activities.
  • Apply innovative ideas and product solutions to address customer business problems by understanding their requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of existing and new products to provide accurate information.
  • Identify and communicate future customer requirements and feedback to appropriate internal divisions.
  • Act as a liaison between various VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer needs and analyze market data.
  • Utilize sales automation systems for inquiries, record maintenance, and report preparation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three plus years of sales experience with demonstrated account management, servicing, negotiation, and established customer relationships.
  • A proven track record of meeting sales and revenue goals with small to medium account responsibility.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements for state(s) within the assigned territory.
  • Candidate must reside within the territory, which includes West NC and Charlotte.

Work Mode

This is a local-city role based in the specified territory of West NC and Charlotte.
