About the Role

Medely is hiring an Account Executive for New Markets to expand our healthcare staffing platform into territories with little to no existing presence. In this true hunter role, you will be responsible for opening entirely new markets, building demand from the ground up, and executing multi-channel outreach to close net-new business with outpatient healthcare facilities. You will join a mission-oriented startup dedicated to modernizing the way healthcare workers and facilities work together.

What You'll Do

  • Open new territories and bring Medely's platform to markets with no existing presence.
  • Build demand from the ground up and establish relationships with outpatient healthcare facilities.
  • Self-prospect, generate your own pipeline, and execute creative, multi-channel outreach strategies.
  • Own the full new-business motion end-to-end with no SDR/BDR support.
  • Map territory and identify high-potential outpatient facilities.
  • Run consultative discovery calls with clinical and operational leaders.
  • Demonstrate Medely's platform, tailoring use cases to each facility type.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Share market feedback with leadership to influence go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Clinical Ops, and Product to adapt messaging.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for your region and help shape the playbook for future launches.
  • Mentor new Launch AEs as they ramp.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success launching a new territory, market, or product from scratch.
  • Minimum of 4 years of quota-carrying, full-cycle sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to create pipeline without SDR/BDR support.
  • Strong organizational skills to track early pipeline and document market learnings.
  • Consultative sales approach and excellent discovery skills.
  • Comfort engaging with clinical and operational teams.
  • Resilient, proactive, and relentless in pursuing new business opportunities.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare or software/technology sales.

  • On-target earnings of $124,000 - $138,000 (base salary plus commission at plan).
