About the Role

Builder Prime is looking for an Account Executive to drive sales strategies and book new business opportunities. In this role, you will engage prospects, cultivate relationships, and sell our business management software to home improvement professionals, providing valuable feedback to stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Drive 30% of pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, targeting home improvement contractors with $1-$10M in revenue and 3-25+ employees.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close within a typical 30-day period, requiring multiple touchpoints.
  • Conduct 5-10+ sophisticated product demonstrations per week, showcasing technical capabilities and business impact.
  • Act as a consultative expert, guiding prospects to understand Builder Prime's value in solving their business challenges.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sale to successful onboarding and collaborate with Customer Success for post-sale check-ins.
  • Thrive in a self-motivated environment, taking initiative and moving with speed.
  • Collaborate actively with the sales team and cross-functional departments, sharing insights.
  • Maintain meticulous records in HubSpot for accurate pipeline forecasting.
  • Continuously learn about the product, market trends, and competitive landscape.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to travel to 6 events per year.
  • 2-5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into SMB and Mid markets.
  • Experience selling comprehensive business management platforms or ERP-style solutions to operation-heavy brick-and-mortar businesses.
  • Proven ability to articulate and sell value against larger, more feature-rich competitors.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDICC framework.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with demonstrable experience generating outbound pipeline.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A process-oriented approach to sales, with a clear understanding of how to drive deals forward and manage a clean pipeline.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM), AI note-taking tools, Gong, and Seamless (or similar sales intelligence tools).
  • High learning agility, resourcefulness, and a genuine curiosity about solving customer problems.
  • A collaborative spirit and a strong desire to contribute positively to a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling a SaaS solution (ideally an all-in-one business management tool) to SMBs (e.g., home improvement contractors).
  • Knowledge or experience in SaaS and the home improvement industry.
  • Strong understanding of business management CRM software and its application in improving business processes.
