Insurance Office of America (IOA) is looking for an Account Executive for Employee Benefits to manage a book of business and lead account service activities. In this remote role, you'll collaborate closely with the Producer to ensure outstanding client service, identify sales opportunities, and provide strategic benefits consulting.
What You'll Do
- Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring outstanding service and no errors.
- Direct daily activities of Account Managers and Coordinators, ensuring productivity and quality.
- Identify and act on sales opportunities.
- Manage client data, communication, and benefits plan setup for new business.
- Update client data, manage communication, and assist with budgeting and compliance during renewal processes.
- Build and improve client relationships, seek feedback, and provide value-added solutions.
- Identify trends, provide benchmark data, and represent clients in negotiations.
- Maintain accurate data in the agency system.
- Support team training and development, promote a positive work environment, and seek continuous improvement.
- Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
- Champion IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of industry experience.
- Required active licensing.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
- Consultative sales and presentation skills.
- High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Team & Environment
You will work in collaboration with a Producer and direct the daily activities of Account Managers and Coordinators.

Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates located in Florida only. The company office is based in Longwood, FL.
