Topsort is looking for an Account Executive for APAC to drive commercial growth in the retail media ecosystem. This hands-on, execution-focused role requires curiosity, ownership, and adaptability. You will be instrumental in democratizing the secret technologies of the walled gardens and creating a privacy-first, cookie-free world of clean advertising.
What You'll Do
- Own and exceed quarterly revenue quotas across your assigned regions.
- Target retailers, marketplaces, and delivery apps that match our Ideal Customer Profile.
- Build high-quality pipeline through outbound prospecting, events, workshops, LinkedIn, referrals, and creative networking.
- Lead the full sales cycle from discovery and ROI narrative to demo, technical alignment, proposal, negotiation, and contract.
- Engage multiple stakeholders including C-suite, Finance, Product, Data, and Engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to craft realistic timelines, assess technical feasibility, and finalize commercial terms.
- Maintain clean pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and participate in weekly deal reviews.
- Become an expert in retail media monetization models, auctions, ad server logic, and advertiser adoption.
- Understand competitor ecosystems and clearly articulate Topsort’s differentiation.
- Learn our infrastructure inside and out: auctions, ad server, optimizer, reporting, and API capabilities.
- Explain technical concepts simply and confidently to diverse audiences.
- Customize product demos to customer maturity and specific business models.
- Integrate customer data to frame ROI, adoption uplift, and monetization impact.
- Develop senior-level relationships and become a trusted advisor.
- Map account structures including champions, detractors, blockers, procurement, and technical owners.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university, with STEM majors like economics, engineering, finance, or data preferred.
- 3+ years of work experience with a proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles, with ownership over outcomes and deals.
- Strong communication skills, structured thinking, and the ability to navigate complex organizations.
- A quick learner with curiosity for retail media, auctions, and marketplace monetization.
- A team-oriented, adaptable individual comfortable operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience in startups, scale-ups, or other high-growth environments.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ad-tech, martech, or data platforms.
- Familiarity with retail, marketplaces, or media monetization.
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
