About the Role

Scout Motors is looking for an Account Executive, APAC (ANZ) to shape our growth in the region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be instrumental in establishing our presence and driving revenue in this new territory.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the ANZ region in collaboration with sales leadership, owning responsibility for delivering revenue targets.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting and managing inbound leads.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with key customers to drive ongoing value from our products and services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for prospects with support from the Sales Engineering team.
  • Work with customers to define critical goals and key performance indicators, aiding them in achieving their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and sales peers to optimize client value and company success.
  • Provide accurate sales reporting and forecasting based on pipeline results.

What We're Looking For

  • An adaptive, introspective professional; willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
  • 3+ years of selling enterprise consumption-based software platforms.
  • Experience in the SaaS or telecommunications industry.
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • A hunter mentality and experience developing outbound strategies via phone, email, and social selling.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with strong listening abilities.
  • Ability to identify and sell to C-Level executives as well as contacts in Product Development and IT.

Nice to Have

  • New business sales experience in Telco, CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or SaaS.
  • Established relationships with customers who trust and respect your advice.
  • Proven consultative sales skills, including articulating a clear ROI value statement.
  • Experience with established sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, or MEDDPICC.

You will report directly to the Regional Sales Director, joining a growing team focused on transforming and modernizing antiquated systems, automating manual processes, and solving real-world problems through innovative connectivity solutions. We foster an environment of continuous learning and growth.

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates located within the APAC region, specifically New Zealand and Australia.
