Deepgram is hiring an Account Executive to acquire new customers and generate revenue for our advanced voice AI platform. In this role, you will build your own pipeline, exceed targets, and clearly articulate technical value to prospective buyers.
What You'll Do
- Self-prospect to build a strong sales pipeline focused on new customer logos.
- Strive to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Partner with Marketing and SDR teams to generate meetings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Ops and Sales Engineers to ensure sales effectiveness.
- Articulate Deepgram’s value proposition fully to highly technical buyers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work with Customer Success Managers to drive upsell opportunities and manage existing accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a technical full-cycle sales role.
- Experience building your own pipeline from scratch and closing accounts.
- Consistent overachievement against sales targets in past roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Ability to drive a consistent and repeatable sales process with a coachable and adaptable mindset.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Challenger or Triangle sales methodology.
- Experience selling to a technical audience in a similar space.
Team & Environment
You will work with cross-functional go-to-market partners, including Sales Ops, Sales Engineers, Marketing, SDRs, and Customer Success Managers.
