Pure Storage is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive new business within the Federal Government across the Greater Ottawa Area. You will be responsible for evangelizing our enterprise storage technology and modern data platform solutions, navigating complex federal procurement environments to win new customer logos.
What You'll Do
- Evangelize Pure’s all-flash enterprise storage technology and modern data platform solutions to federal stakeholders.
- Build and expand trusted relationships with key influencers across federal departments and agencies.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that leverage internal resources and partner networks to acquire new federal customers.
- Lead coordinated pursuit teams including sales engineering, leadership, and strategic partners to advance complex opportunities.
- Manage and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities across the Greater Ottawa Area to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Navigate Government of Canada procurement frameworks and acquisition vehicles to effectively position Pure solutions.
- Collaborate closely with strategic partners, system integrators, and resellers supporting federal technology initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated success selling enterprise technology solutions into the Government of Canada.
- Deep understanding of federal procurement frameworks and buying vehicles.
- Experience working with key federal organizations such as DND, Shared Services Canada, and other major departments.
- Established relationships across the Ottawa public sector partner ecosystem, including system integrators.
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to understand customer mission priorities and operational challenges.
- A Challenger mindset with the ability to apply customer insight to position solutions for IT challenges.
- Avid hunter mentality with proven prospecting skills and the ability to open doors to new opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building trust with both executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Experience leading complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across customer and partner organizations.
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and building long-term, referenceable customer relationships.
- Passion for customer success and long-term value delivery.
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience focused on new logo acquisition, consistently delivering $10-15M+ in annual revenue.
Nice to Have
- Experience operating in controlled or secure government environments.
- Existing Government of Canada security clearance eligibility or an active clearance.

You will collaborate closely with Pure’s sales engineering, channel, and executive leadership teams, as well as with partner organizations.

- Compensation: $133,000—$199,500 CAD + potential equity.
