About the Role

This position leads sales initiatives for public sector clients, identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering tailored solutions to meet institutional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sales processes for large-scale software deployments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in government and education
  • Identify new business opportunities within public sector organizations
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client requirements
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements within compliance frameworks
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline data in CRM systems
  • Stay current on public sector procurement policies and regulations
  • Drive adoption of digital solutions across agencies and institutions
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
  • Translate client needs into actionable technology strategies
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across complex organizational structures
  • Ensure customer success through post-sale support coordination
  • Monitor market trends affecting public sector digital transformation
  • Advocate for customer needs internally to influence product direction
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Provide strategic account planning for long-term growth
  • Address procurement challenges specific to public funding cycles
  • Support RFP and RFQ responses with technical and commercial input
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior public officials
