Zayo is hiring an Account Executive

About the Role

Zayo is hiring an Account Executive II to drive sales growth by selling communications infrastructure solutions to dormant, new logo, and prospective accounts within an assigned geographical territory. You will achieve sales targets through aggressive selling and a consultative approach.

What You'll Do

  • Generate sales revenue by actively promoting Zayo products and services within your targeted and assigned territory.
  • Execute a regional go-to-market plan to increase sales revenue in Zayo OnNet/Near Net buildings.
  • Manage a high volume of work while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and other tools.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain records of customer activity for sales and forecast reporting.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue objectives are met.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team while performing effectively as an individual with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Telecom industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of personalities.
  • Willingness to learn Zayo's value proposition and products such as Ethernet, Waves, IP transport, Dark Fiber, and Cloud services.
  • Ability to travel as required by customers.

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Annual compensation: $48,600 - $64,700 CAD
