Electric is hiring an Account Executive

About the Role

Electric is seeking a high-energy Account Executive to be a first point of contact for prospects and drive new customer acquisition. You will leverage your sound business acumen, technical aptitude, and sales instincts to prospect, build pipeline, and execute sales engagements that fuel top-line growth.

What You'll Do

  • Be one of the first points of contact for prospects, demonstrating the value of Electric.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key decision-makers to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Own end-to-end workflows and help evolve our sales strategy as we expand into new markets.
  • Prospect, build your own pipeline, and execute sales engagements to expand Electric’s reach.
  • Become a product expert, run product demos, and help build sales playbooks.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help refine our go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate, share best practices, and mentor others on the team.
  • Hit quarterly outreach, pipeline, and revenue targets.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of successful selling experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with strategic outbound prospecting and a track record of closing new business.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
  • Ability to build pipeline from scratch from target Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
  • Ability to foster key relationships with stakeholders and buyer groups.
  • Experience driving net-new business from lead to close.
  • You are coachable, flexible, and resilient.
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to solve complex problems without direct supervision.
  • You have a builder mentality and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity and come up with creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Experience working with Marketing and Product teams; ability to translate market feedback into actionable insights.
  • Highly organized; ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize your time.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with B2B software and technology (Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience in the IT or cybersecurity space.
