RemoteVA PH is hiring a 3D Specialist to lead the critical conversion workflow for personalized crystal keepsakes. You will transform high-resolution 2D portraits into precise 3D bas-relief point cloud models optimized for subsurface laser engraving, delivering assets with exceptional visual impact.

What You'll Do

Convert high-resolution 2D portrait images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models suitable for subsurface laser engraving.
Apply depth mapping and facial feature enhancement to create realistic raised effects.
Enhance image contrast and clarity to optimize depth extraction and model fidelity.
Ensure output compatibility with engraving machine formats.
Scale and align models to match specific crystal dimensions.
Perform quality checks to ensure model integrity, resolution, and engraving readiness.
Collaborate with the production team to meet turnaround times and maintain consistency.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in 3D modeling, depth mapping, or point cloud generation from 2D imagery.
Proficiency with tools such as Blender, ZBrush, MeshLab, or custom depth conversion software.
Strong understanding of bas-relief modeling principles and facial geometry.
Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Attention to detail and commitment to precision in scaling and formatting.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with subsurface laser engraving workflows and machine file requirements.
Experience with portrait-based modeling or photogrammetry.
Knowledge of OBJ file optimization and mesh simplification.
Familiarity with crystal engraving constraints.
