Intex Technologies, LLC is seeking a Yoga Instructor to create and lead yoga and wellness classes for hotel guests. You will provide personal training sessions and ensure maximum guest satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
What You'll Do
- Provide hotel guests with a personal yoga orientation, including a medical questionnaire, fitness assessment, and program development.
- Develop an evolving, interesting array of yoga and wellness opportunities to motivate guests.
- Promote and upsell revenue-generating private training and wellness classes to meet guest needs.
- Monitor fitness levels and requirements of all participants and design classes to suit individual needs.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with participants and ensure an optimal level of guest services.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and assist in answering all participant queries.
- Prepare and promote a schedule for group yoga and assist participants in attending classes.
- Inform participants in various forms of yoga and its effect on the body and mind.
- Perform and demonstrate all yoga exercises to participants and ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Assist participants in performing all exercises effectively.
- Evaluate exercises performed by participants and recommend corrections or proper body alignment as required.
- Maintain a neat and clean exercise room or yoga pavilion at all times.
- Motivate participants by providing encouragement and connecting with students through fun, intelligent sequencing.
- Offer training recommendations to improve the practice of yoga, leveraging knowledge of fitness science, the human body, anatomy, and physiology.
- Liaise with the Recreation Manager in setting up and running a timetable of yoga and meditation classes, activities, events, and training.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably in an international, luxury five-star hotel.
Team & Environment
You will liaise directly with the Recreation Manager to coordinate yoga and wellness programming.
