Marvin Behavioral Health is looking for a WV Remote Mental Health Therapist to join us as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide evidence-based virtual therapy to adult healthcare workers, supporting our mission to reshape mental health support for the healthcare workforce.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality, confidential teletherapy sessions on a HIPAA-compliant video platform to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, or the Gottman Method.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes within a streamlined EHR.
• Incorporate measurement-based tools like PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to monitor client progress and improve outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Independent licensure in West Virginia as an LMFT, LICSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults.
• Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week.
• Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms and using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
• Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools to monitor progress.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, or the Gottman Method.
• Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care.
• A passion for supporting the mental health of healthcare workers.

Nice to Have

• Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders.
