You will play a key role in supporting project managers with the Budget Control Tool (BCT), an internal Excel-based application used to plan and track financial performance in renewable energy initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to improving financial oversight and operational effectiveness across ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist users in effectively utilizing and advancing the Budget Control Tool
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and escalating complex problems when necessary
- Support migration of projects to the BCT and provide responsive day-to-day user assistance
- Monitor system performance and detect potential data or technical inconsistencies early
- Conduct routine checks to verify data integrity and logical consistency
- Develop clear documentation and user materials to guide adoption of new features and processes
What You Bring
- A solid interest in IT systems, data management, and process improvement, particularly in project or finance contexts
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured, problem-solving mindset
- Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering practical support
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience managing large datasets and resolving technical issues
- High level of precision and a strong sense for data quality and consistency
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
- Experience with macro programming is beneficial but not required
