Sedgwick is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead to oversee claims operations specifically for the MD, VA & DC jurisdictions. You will leverage your regional expertise to guide and support claims processes.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage workers compensation claims handling for the Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia jurisdictions.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with jurisdictional regulations.
- Analyze claims data and trends to identify areas for process improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on jurisdictional requirements for the team.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of MD, VA & DC jurisdictional rules, regulations, and best practices for workers compensation claims.
- Proven ability to lead processes and provide direction in a claims environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex regulatory information.
