National General Holdings Corp. (a member of the Allstate family of companies) is hiring a Workday - Lead Consultant

As a Workday Lead Consultant at National General, you will act as a senior HR Business Architect, shaping and optimizing Allstate's business capabilities to achieve strategic goals. You'll serve as a key enabler between HR business owners and digital product teams to deliver measurable value efficiently and at scale, with a focus on supporting the India and Northern Ireland regions and executing HR functions within Pay, Time and Absence, Compensation, and Core.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the key enabler between HR business owners, localized requirements within India and Northern Ireland, and digital product teams to realize product outcomes aligned with strategic business goals.
• Support the enablement and maintenance of the HR business architecture framework in alignment with the enterprise architecture strategy.
• Translate HR strategic goals into business capabilities and prioritized business outcomes for execution.
• Define and measure business value for intended product outcomes.
• Ensure product outcomes align with broader customer and employee journeys.
• Collaborate closely with digital product teams, actively engaging in all agile ceremonies.
• Work across HR digital product teams to ensure cohesive and streamlined product delivery.
• Contribute to overall HR strategy and planning within assigned functional domains.
• Partner with strategic vendors to review and influence product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Allstate’s current and future needs.
• Conduct business analysis, including root cause identification and resolution of employee challenges.

What We're Looking For

• All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate.
• A minimum of 4 years HR or business related experience working with Workday HCM solutions at scale.
• A minimum of 2 years owning or configuring Compensation, Time, or Absence modules (e.g., implementing new functionality, reducing manual effort, improving data quality, or increasing process adoption).
• A minimum 1 year experience coaching or mentoring team members globally.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Agile best practices while clearly communicating complex concepts evidenced by leading Agile ceremonies, refining backlogs, producing clear user stories or decision documents, and effectively presenting product strategy to senior or non‑technical stakeholders to accelerate delivery and improve alignment.

Nice to Have

• Experience partnering with HR teams across multiple geographies (preferably India and/or Northern Ireland), addressing localisation needs, process variations, and regulatory considerations.
