Penn Mutual is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workday Financial Analyst to join our Financial Systems team. This role supports the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Financials modules, ensuring alignment with business needs and enabling strategic decision-making through accurate system functionality.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain functional configuration for Workday Financials, including Core Financials (FDM), Accounting Center, Banking and Settlement, Suppliers, and Prism Analytics
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues with finance integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, configure, prototype, and test Workday solutions
- Optimize Workday and business processes by proactively identifying areas for increased automation and efficiency
- Evaluate the latest Workday feature releases to determine stakeholder benefits
- Assist in regression testing for Workday bi-annual updates across all stakeholders
- Provide support and training for Workday Financials as required
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Financial Systems team to prioritize and approve Workday change requests
- Lead the responsible integration of AI-powered tools to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and improve user experience
- Champion digital fluency by coaching staff and advisors on effective use of collaboration platforms
- Partner with enterprise technology teams to align on digital strategies and drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of Workday administration experience
- Proven experience with Workday Financials (Core Financials, Accounting Center, etc.)
- Experience with Prism, Workday Studio, Adaptive, and Security
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, departments, and outside contacts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- 3-5 years of Workday administration, configuration, support, and maintenance for Financials modules
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the Insurance industry is a nice-to-have

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
