What You'll Do
Collaborate directly with clients to understand their business needs and guide them through the implementation of certified Workday integrations. Your focus will be on automating core HR and payroll processes, ensuring smooth data flow between Workday and external payroll platforms. You'll help define project scope, set expectations during pre-sales discussions, and lead technical delivery from design to deployment.
Design and build integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services APIs, with special attention to payroll data accuracy and compliance. Troubleshoot complex data issues, validate outputs, and ensure secure handling of sensitive employee information. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to refine integration frameworks and identify opportunities to expand functionality based on real-world use cases.
Document technical workflows, data mappings, and system interfaces thoroughly. Manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverables to ensure on-time go-lives. Proactively recommend improvements that align with evolving client needs and platform updates.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Workday Consultant, with hands-on work in Workday Core HCM and third-party payroll integrations
- Workday certification in Core Connector Tools & Payroll (CCTPP) and Integration Core required
- Proven ability to adapt to new client environments and shifting project demands
- Experience with EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services APIs
- Solid understanding of Workday payroll, time tracking, and absence management processes
- Familiarity with functional areas including Compensation, Recruiting, and HCM data flows impacting payroll
- Knowledge of gross-to-net calculations, tax jurisdictions, and wage types
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve integration challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities when working with clients and internal teams
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Prism, Extend, or custom report development is advantageous and may enhance your contribution to complex integration scenarios.
