Responsibilities
- Manage executive client relationships for a portfolio of public sector accounts, independent of any single active project
- Act as the main strategic contact for agency and district leaders, addressing significant matters beyond immediate issues
- Conduct regular executive business reviews to align on goals, identify strategic priorities, and showcase ongoing value
- Develop strong, multi-faceted relationships across client organizations, including CHRO, CFO, CIO, and operational leaders
- Advocate for the client's interests within the organization, engaging with delivery, product, and practice leadership
- Monitor the status of active engagements within accounts, serving as an executive sponsor and escalation point
- Collaborate with Engagement Managers to foresee risks, navigate organizational challenges, and safeguard client relationships during delivery issues
- Attend steering committee meetings and key delivery milestones as the senior relationship representative
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new engagements by facilitating the handoff from the Client Development Executive and setting the client experience tone from the start
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities within the account portfolio, including new Workday modules, Phase X work, AMS, optimization, and staff augmentation
- Work closely with the Client Development Executive to qualify, frame, and advance expansion opportunities through the pursuit process
- Contribute to proposal development and presentations for expansion engagements, providing delivery credibility and client context to the pursuit team
- Maintain a clear understanding of each client’s Workday roadmap and align the organization’s capabilities with their strategic direction
- Provide structured client feedback and market intelligence to inform service development and go-to-market strategy
- Contribute to public sector thought leadership through written content, speaking engagements, and ecosystem participation
- Mentor Client Success Advisors and support their development toward the Client Success Partner level
- Represent the organization at Workday Rising, public sector user groups, and regional events as a recognized voice in the ecosystem
