About the Role
The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, analyze requirements, configure Workday modules, and support testing and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments
- Configure and test Workday HCM modules according to business needs
- Translate functional needs into technical solutions within the Workday environment
- Support data conversion and validation during system implementation phases
- Collaborate with project teams on integration strategies and workflows
- Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades and enhancements
- Provide expertise on Workday security, reporting, and analytics
- Assist in resolving system issues and support post-implementation stabilization
- Document system configurations, processes, and solution designs
- Lead training sessions and prepare user support materials
- Facilitate change management by communicating updates to end users
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards
- Work closely with HR and finance teams to align system capabilities with operational goals
- Participate in agile project delivery cycles and sprint planning
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Support audit readiness through accurate documentation and configuration control
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration configurations in Workday
- Validate system behavior against business rules and functional specifications
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday releases and functionality
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for HR systems
- Ensure data integrity across Workday and connected platforms
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for system use
- Participate in user acceptance testing coordination
- Support go-live activities and system cutover processes
