We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and operate Windows Server platforms and Microsoft services for multiple clients. You´ll be integrated in a shared services team of administrators/Engineers supporting multiple client environments (multi-tenant). This role requires deliver operational excellence, automation, and security, act as Level 3 expert, and lead/execute transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operational availability, performance, and security of Windows infrastructure across on-prem and cloud;
- Rotating on-call to ensure service continuity per contractual SLAs;
- Advanced operations, Administer and operate Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy;
- Patch and update management, hardening and compliance;
- Manage core infrastructure services: file services/DFS, printing, RDS, IIS, certificates/PKI;
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and/or Hyper-V (clusters, resource management, snapshots)
- Backup and recovery: Veeam or equivalent, DR planning and restore testing;
- Monitoring and observability: implement probes, alerts, dashboards;
- Automation and scripting recurring tasks, deployments, reporting, hardening;
- Operational security: AV/EDR, MFA/Conditional Access, vulnerability management, bastion/PAM;
- Cloud and Microsoft 365/Entra ID (Azure AD): accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, Intune/Endpoint Manager (as per client scope);
- L2/L3 support: incident handling, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions;
- Change management: planning, execution, rollback and documentation (ITIL);
- Documentation and industrialization: runbooks, procedures, standards, CMDB, service maps;
- Cross-team collaboration: coordinate with network/security/DevOps; manage vendors when needed;
- On-call duties: after-hours incident response, escalation, client communication, adherence to SLAs.
