About the Role
The ideal candidate will oversee Windows server infrastructure, implement system improvements, ensure security compliance, and provide technical leadership for complex operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor Windows server systems across multiple data centers
- Deploy, configure, and maintain server operating systems and roles
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related directory services
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and rapid incident resolution
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Perform regular system patching and security updates
- Troubleshoot complex network and system integration issues
- Support virtualized environments including VMware and Hyper-V
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance standards
- Document system configurations, procedures, and change controls
- Lead root cause analysis for critical system outages
- Optimize server performance and resource utilization
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to change management policies
- Work closely with application teams during deployments
- Maintain secure access controls and privilege management
- Support audit requirements with accurate system records
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support
- Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling
