Responsibilities
- Transcribe spoken Welsh audio into accurate written text
- Review existing transcriptions for grammatical correctness and completeness
- Identify and correct errors in timing, speaker labeling, and text alignment
- Ensure transcriptions follow provided style and formatting guidelines
- Maintain consistency in dialect representation and terminology
- Flag unclear or unintelligible audio segments for review
- Meet quality benchmarks on accuracy and turnaround time
- Adapt to various Welsh dialects and speech patterns
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage assigned transcription tasks within deadlines
- Use transcription software and tools effectively
- Follow data privacy and confidentiality protocols
- Report technical or workflow issues promptly
- Collaborate with team leads for quality improvement
- Participate in calibration sessions for consistency
- Respond to feedback for performance refinement
- Handle sensitive content with professionalism
- Maintain high attention to detail throughout tasks
