About the Role

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Wealth Advisor to play a key role in delivering personalized financial advice and strategic planning to Empower Personal Strategy clients in the greater SF Bay area. Working as part of a dedicated client practice team, this position focuses on relationship management, financial planning, investment strategy, and proactive client engagement to support clients in achieving financial freedom.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a best-in-class client experience through servicing proactive and reactive client engagements related to client onboarding, financial planning, and investor education
  • Lead clients through optimal experience by effective management of outreach campaigns and Financial Planning milestones
  • Client relationship management: collaborate with your advisory team to grow and maintain strong long-term relationships with highly valued clients
  • Identify and drive planning opportunities and coordinate financial planning information gathering
  • Financial planning & analysis: provide comprehensive financial planning services tailored to clients’ individual needs and goals. Present planning deliverables individually or alongside your advisory team
  • Investment management: recommend, implement, and review investment strategies that align with clients’ risk tolerance and financial objectives. Remain informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting investments
  • Assist with monthly audit reviews in collaboration with various EPW stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to drive relationship clearance, manage customization, and accommodate client requests

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years related work experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning
  • Experience managing a book of clients in the wealth management arena
  • Detail oriented and able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Exceptional at delivering effective client consultations – always composed, professional, and skilled at establishing trust and building long-term client relationships
  • Proven ability to navigate multiple client needs, deliver on multi-product goals, and analyze and present investment portfolios to clients
  • FINRA Series 65 required
  • FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire
  • Ability to meet clients in person in the Greater SF Bay area

Base salary range: $78,800.00 - $111,275.00. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. This role includes a $5,000 licensing sign on bonus for candidates who apply from March 25 to April 30.
